Daily Egyptian 100th Anniversary Celebration!

 

All former DEers please 'Save The Date'! The Daily Egyptian's 100th Anniversary Reunion will take place at the Communications Building Friday, October 21st and Saturday, October 22nd. On Friday, the School of Journalism will be hosting a panel of distinguished alum on the future of journalism at the college in the Morris Library Guyon Audiorium at 5 p.m.. At 6:30 p.m.there will be food and drinks in the Morris Library Rotunda. At 9 p.m. at Studio A in the Communications Building Tawl Paul and Slappin' Henry Blue will provide music. The newsroom and offices in room 1247 in the Communications Building will be open at 3:00 p.m. for tours and to talk to our current editorial and advertising staff. On Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. the Daily Egyptian will host a tent on Saluki Row at the tailgate before the homecoming football game. Please join us to celebrate the first hundred years of the DE! Open to Daily Egyptian alumni, current student and professional staff, current and former journalism school faculty and staff.
